Drunk motorist knocked down a woman with a baby in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

In the Yeniseysky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a drunk motorist who does not have a driver's license knocked down a woman with an infant in a stroller. The regional State Traffic Inspectorate reports this in its Telegram channel.

The accident occurred the night before, on August 7, in the village of Verkhnepashino. On Proletarskaya Street, a Honda Fit car hit a local woman who was walking along the edge of the roadway with a wheelchair.

As a result of the accident, a three-month-old child was seriously injured and hospitalized. The baby's mother was not injured.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the driver of the car was a 34-year-old man who does not have a driver's license. He was drunk at the time of the accident, and the readings were 0.40 mg/l.

The traffic police also found out that immediately before the trip, the driver found out in one of the communities on the social network where the nearest crew was located in order to bypass it.

A criminal case has been opened under paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Violation of traffic rules, which negligently caused serious harm to health, committed by a person in a state of intoxication." The maximum sanction of this article provides for up to seven years in prison.
