The Russian national football team will play a match with the Iranian team in Volgograd on October 10. This was announced on August 8 by the press service of the Russian Football Union (RFU).

"The game will take place in Volgograd at the Volgograd Arena stadium. The start of the ticket program and the start time of the match will be announced additionally," reads a statement posted on the official website of the RFU.
