Putin and Mirziyoyev confirmed their interest in strengthening partnership between Russia and Uzbekistan

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Uzbek leader Shavkat Mirziyoyev confirmed in a telephone conversation their mutual interest in strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries. This was announced on August 8 by the Kremlin's press service.

"The mutual interest in further strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries has been confirmed," reads a message posted on the Telegram channel.
