A man and a woman in masks robbed the Russian Post office in Moscow

In Moscow, almost 5 million rubles were stolen during the robbery of the post office on Medikov Street in the Tsaritsyno district. This was announced on August 8 by the press service of the Prosecutor's office of the capital.

"According to preliminary data <...>, two unidentified men, wearing masks, threatened an employee with an object structurally similar to a pistol, stole money, and then disappeared. About 4.8 million rubles were previously stolen," the message posted on the Telegram channel says.

According to the Izvestia source, the robbery was committed by a man and a woman. They allegedly fled the crime scene in a taxi.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Administrative District took control of the search for the intruders, their detention and prosecution. The department added that other circumstances of the incident are being established.

On May 26, attackers stole 127 million rubles from a man near Moscow City and fled by taxi. It was clarified that three unknown men approached the man on the embankment, after a conversation they beat him and took his suitcase, then disappeared into one of the shopping malls in the west of the capital.
