In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, an intoxicated driver hit a mother with a three-month-old child. This was announced on August 8 by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

"A 34-year-old driver, moving along Proletarskaya Street, lost control and hit a local woman who was walking along the edge of the roadway with a stroller containing her three—month-old baby," the department's Telegram channel said.

They added that the woman was not injured in the incident, but the child was seriously injured and was hospitalized. In addition, the Interior Ministry clarified that an intoxicated local resident who did not have a license was driving the car.

A criminal case has been opened against the man under Part 2 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules that negligently caused serious harm to human health").
