Enrollment in pre-professional classes in Moscow schools will last until August 25.

Moscow schools accept applications to pre-professional classes until August 25. This was announced on Thursday, August 7, according to the website of the Moscow City Hall.

There are six areas of such training in the capital: engineering, medical, entrepreneurial, psychological and pedagogical, IT and media classes. The Department of Education and Science noted that the programs help students to consciously choose their future profession.: They visit university laboratories, employers' sites, participate in research and can get their first jobs at colleges, Moscow 24 reports.

The training is based on the "school – college – university – industrial partner" system. High school students master the school curriculum, while simultaneously obtaining working specialties, create projects with university teachers and participate in conferences, which gives additional points upon admission. In the 11th grade, you can take a pre-professional exam to increase your chances of enrolling in a university, writes RT.

Admission requires at least four points in specialized subjects on the OGE and an average certificate score of at least "good". If their school does not have the right direction, a ninth-grader can choose another one, where the appropriate class is open, the Moscow City News agency notes.
