The construction of the road network from the MSD to Yurlovsky Passage has been completed by almost 70%. This was announced on Thursday, August 7, by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his Telegram channel.
The project provides for the construction of almost 6 km of new roads, the reconstruction of Agricultural and Dekabristov streets, the construction of five underground pedestrian crossings and a sewage treatment plant, as well as the renovation and laying of 95.5 km of utilities with landscaping of adjacent territories, writes RT.
According to the mayor, it is planned to complete the work by the end of the year, NSN notes. The new transport network will connect residential areas, new buildings, industrial zones and business centers in the districts of Sviblovo, Ostankinsky, Otradnoye and Yuzhnoye Medvedkovo, which will make movement around the city faster and more convenient. The load on neighboring roads will decrease, according to the Moscow City News agency.
