Military expert Alexey Zhivov called the liberation of Krasnoarmeysk (Ukrainian name — Pokrovsk) and Dimitrov (Ukrainian name — Mirnograd) key tasks for the Russian Armed Forces in the zone of special military operation.

In conversation with Lenta.Ru On Thursday, August 7, the expert noted that the combat work of the Russian Armed Forces in the Pokrovsky direction is really important now, since the capture of Krasnoarmeysk will severely affect the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbas, as well as interrupt the logistics of the enemy in the region.
