Trump called on the countries of the Middle East to join the Abraham Agreements
All the States of the Middle East should join the Avraham Agreements on Normalization of Relations with Israel in order to achieve peace in the region. This was announced on Thursday, August 7, by US President Donald Trump.
According to the American leader, after the destruction of Iran's nuclear arsenal, the entry of all countries in the region into the agreements will ensure stability in the Middle East.
"It is very important for me that all the countries of the Middle East join the Abraham agreements. This will ensure peace in the Middle East," Trump wrote on the Truth Social network.
The Abraham Agreements are a series of treaties on the normalization of Israel's relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan.
In May, Stephen Witkoff, the special envoy of the US President, said that up to six states could join the Abraham Agreements. In particular, he expressed the opinion that in the near future one can see the potential for normalization of Israel's relations with Lebanon and Syria. In addition, according to him, Libya, Azerbaijan and Armenia may join the Abraham Agreements.
