The AFD leader called for the abolition of civil benefits for all Ukrainian refugees
On August 7, Alice Weidel, co-chairman of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, called for the abolition of civil benefits for all Ukrainian refugees in Germany.

"Stop the abuse: cancel civil benefits for all Ukrainians and provide in—kind payments only to asylum seekers!" Weidel wrote on her page on the social network X.
On August 3, the leader of the German Christian Social Union (CSU), Markus Zeder, called for the complete abolition of unemployment benefits to Ukrainian refugees in Germany. The CSU chairman added that he wants to put the proposal up for discussion in the country's ruling coalition.
