Details of the program of the anniversary festival "India Day" have become known

A press conference was held in Moscow on the eve of the India Day festival, which will traditionally be held from August 14 to 17 in the southern landscape park Island of Dreams. The main topics of the event and the schedule of the main events on its site became known. Special attention was paid to the ten-year history of the festival and its future. The 10th India Day Festival is organized by the Sita Indian Cultural and National Center. The event is supported by the Moscow Government, the Roscongress Foundation and MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

The event was attended by Sammy Kotwani, founder of the India Day Festival, President of the Sita Indian Cultural and National Center; Dmitry Kiselyov, CEO of the Russia Today International Media Group; Olga Zhilina, Deputy Head of the Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations of Moscow; Olga Zhilina, chief organizer of the India Day Festival, Director of the Indian Cultural and National Center.Sita Dasha Kotwani; Mikhail Kondratiev, General Director of REGIONS Entertainment JSC; Karen Mirzoyan, General Producer of Indian Films; Tatiana Nazarova, Art Director of the Sita Indian Cultural and National Center, founder of the Nritya Sabha Foundation; Elena, Manager of the Relax Festival Zone, Manager of the Bhakti Marga Rus ANO Karabanova; Natalia Alexandrova, manager of the Veda Weekend Festival area, representative of the I-YOGA Yoga and Dance Center; Sanjit Kumar Jha, manager of the Bhakti Land Festival area, Director of the Indian Culture Center in Moscow. The speakers noted the exceptional importance of the festival for the development of Russian-Indian dialogue and shared the details of the program: over 25 thematic zones will open their doors to all comers.

Sammy Kotwani, Founder of the India Day Festival and President of the Sita Indian Cultural and National Center: "By celebrating the 10th anniversary of the India Day Festival, we are celebrating more than just a cultural event - we are honoring the ten–year path of trust, cultural unity and sincere friendship between India and Russia. This festival has become a living bridge between our peoples, vividly demonstrating how Indian traditions can flourish and be warmly welcomed on Russian soil. From the sacred mantras of yoga to the rhythms of Bollywood, from business ties to the shared memory of military brotherhood, "India Day" has become a symbol of everything that brings our two countries closer. Our shared stories, mutual respect and vibrant cultural exchange have made the festival one of the most iconic examples of Indian-Russian cooperation today."

For all four days, the main stage will turn into the most musical venue of the festival – 413 creative performances will be presented to the audience: 399 dance and 28 vocal performances will be dedicated to traditional Indian culture. The geography of the participants is wide: among the performers are guests from 81 cities of Russia and the world, members of professional and amateur groups.

On August 17, the organizers prepared a costumed trip through Indian traditions – the fashion show "Indian Holidays: Color, Culture and Friendship" will be held with the support of representatives from different regions of India living in Moscow.
