Police detained the shooter at McDonald's in Cherkassy, Ukraine

Law enforcement officers of Ukraine detained the shooter at McDonald's. There's a man in Cherkassy. This was announced on August 7 by the press service of the city police.

"Within an hour, the shooter was detained by special forces <...>. Currently, he is detained in a procedural manner, doctors are providing him with the necessary assistance," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is noted that a criminal case has been opened into the incident. There were no fatalities or injuries, except for the shooter himself, as a result of the incident. The man's motives are being established.

On the same day, it became known that in Cherkasy, a man opened fire and barricaded himself in the toilet of a McDonald's fast food restaurant. It was noted that law enforcement officers arrived at the restaurant, and after that, a bloody attacker was taken out of the restaurant, who injured himself.
