The prosecutor's office began checking after the unscheduled landing of the plane in Astrakhan

The prosecutor's office organized an inspection after the unscheduled landing of the Ural Airlines Airbus A321 aircraft in Astrakhan for technical reasons. This was announced on August 7 by the press service of the Southern Transport Prosecutor's Office.

"The Southern Transport Prosecutor's Office, in cooperation with the Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office, has organized an investigation into the unplanned landing of an aircraft in the Astrakhan region," the Telegram channel says.

All the causes and circumstances of the incident are currently being established. The press service of the Western Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia clarified that there were no casualties as a result of the emergency landing of the aircraft in Astrakhan.

The plane, which was en route from Moscow to Sochi, made an unscheduled landing in Astrakhan earlier that day. Previously, the reason for the emergency landing was traces of smoke in one of the baggage compartments, they were revealed as a result of an inspection of the aircraft at Astrakhan airport.
