The SBU in Warsaw will discuss ways to disrupt the deployment of the Oreshnik in Belarus.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the country's Defense Ministry and the Polish Military Intelligence Service (SVR), together with fugitive Belarusian oppositionists, plan to discuss ways to disrupt the deployment of the Oreshnik missile system in Belarus. This was reported to RIA Novosti on August 7, citing a source.

It is noted that actions against the current authorities of Belarus will be held in Warsaw on August 9-10. The New Belarus conference and a march through the streets of the Polish capital will also be held in the city.

"It became known that representatives of a number of foreign intelligence services, including the Ukrainian SBU and the GUR, as well as the Polish Military Intelligence Service, the intelligence agency and other structures, were invited to the closed part of the conference," the source said.

According to him, at this meeting it is planned to discuss how to counteract the deployment of the "Hazel Grove" on the territory of the country.

The targets for the missile system will be determined by Minsk

On March 14, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced that the Oreshnik would soon enter service with the Belarusian army. According to him, the launcher for this rocket is manufactured in the republic. He added that Minsk expects to receive several missiles from the Russian Federation in the near future, and the launchers will be made in the country.

Later, on May 28, Alexander Volfovich, Secretary of State of the Republic's Security Council, announced that the Oreshnik would be deployed in the country by the end of 2025, and the locations for its deployment had already been determined. He noted that the deployment of the Oreshnik would allow for a reliable rebuff in the event of aggression against Belarus by other states.
