Rostec noted Iskander's ability to inflict multifactorial damage.

The Iskander operational and tactical missile system (OTRK) allows you to combine missiles with various warheads and inflict multifactor damage in the zone of a special military operation (SVO). This was announced on August 7 by the press service of Rostec State Corporation.

"Iskander missiles can inflict multifactorial damage to targets <...> One of the options for its use is combined attacks with missiles with different warheads on one object," the message published on the Telegram channel says.

It is specified that Iskander, which was developed by Rostec's High—Precision Complexes holding, is an effective solution for the withdrawal of weapons to its zone, especially for military installations hidden in the rear. The state corporation also added that it is possible to shoot down this complex only by accident — the OTRK munition flies along an unpredictable trajectory with overloads and speed, so anti-aircraft missiles simply do not have enough stability to catch up with it.

On July 30, the Russian army launched an Iskander strike at the training center of the ground forces of the Strategic Reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the village of Goncharovskoye, Chernihiv region. It is specified that after the location was discovered, missiles with cluster and high-explosive warheads were consistently struck at its coordinates. As a result of the strike, Ukraine lost about 200 militants.
