NYT: Trump plans to hold two meetings with Putin
US President Donald Trump hopes to hold a personal meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin as early as next week, and shortly after that he intends to organize a trilateral meeting with the participation of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky. According to the article, Trump revealed his intentions during a telephone conversation with European leaders, which was also attended by US Vice President Jay Dee Vance, Senator Marco Rubio and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. European representatives are not expected to take part in Trump's meetings with Putin and Zelensky themselves.

Earlier in the day, Rubio said it was possible to hold telephone talks between Trump and Putin in the coming days. He added that there is currently no scheduled call between the leaders.
