In the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Russian guards discovered a warehouse of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with foreign weapons and ammunition. This was announced on August 7 by the Rosgvardiya press service.

"It was possible to identify a large underground warehouse with foreign weapons and ammunition in one of the villages <...>. The Ukrainian Armed Forces militants booby-trapped the entrance using a tripwire with a homemade booby trap," the department's Telegram channel says.

They added that anti-tank and anti-personnel mines, a Bulgarian Bullspike-AT grenade launcher, as well as a 102 mm NLAW anti-tank missile system (ATGM) manufactured in Great Britain were found.

In addition, the Russian Guard found four drones ready for use, and a workshop for assembling kamikaze drones was organized in a warehouse by Ukrainian militants.

Due to the shortage, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are armed with cheap submachine guns of their own design.

On July 17, it was reported that special forces of the Russian Guard had discovered caches of Ukrainian ammunition in the forest belt of the DPR. It was noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces hid grenades, smoke bombs, mines with removed fuses, as well as a barrel for a Kalashnikov machine gun and more than 700 rounds of ammunition.
