As the doctor noted, such an anomaly not only creates discomfort in the eye, but can also lead to corneal erosion and keratitis, resulting in blindness or glaucoma.

"Therefore, if an improperly growing eyelash is found in the eye, you should contact an ophthalmologist as soon as possible. The cilia should be removed," the specialist recommended.
