In the city of Krasnoe Selo, part of St. Petersburg, one woman was killed and one injured in a car-sharing accident. This was announced on August 7 by a source of Izvestia.
"A 35-year-old driver crashed into a bus stop and hit two women who were standing there. One of them died on the spot from her injuries. <...> The second victim was hospitalized with a broken leg," the source said.
It is noted that the carsharing driver was driving drunk and tried to escape from the scene, but was found near the scene of the accident. His leg was also broken.

Earlier that day in the Moscow region, a pedestrian died as a result of a minibus collision on the 27th km of the M-5 Ural highway. It was clarified that the victim died on the spot from his injuries.
