In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police uncovered the theft of two ATVs worth 870 thousand rubles from the courtyard of a private house. This was announced on July 7 by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region in the Telegram channel.

It is noted that the theft was committed by two residents of Krasnoyarsk born in 1972 and 1974. They came to the countryside from the city specifically to commit a crime. It was established that initially the defendants in the case were just walking around the streets, trying to find out which yard the equipment was in.

"Arriving a few hours later, the men, having made sure of the absence of the owners, drove the ATVs into the forest. Then they called their friend and asked him to help him transport the equipment in his car, without informing him that it was stolen," the department said.

Later, the attackers sold one piece of equipment for 50 thousand rubles, and left the second in the garage of one of them. As a result, both ATVs were seized and handed over to the owner, who was born in 1988.

A criminal case has been opened against two previously convicted men under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Theft").

On January 31, at the Moscow airport, law enforcement agencies detained a man who stole 19.5 million rubles from a car and tried to travel abroad. It is specified that the victim himself reported the theft of money. He said that he noticed a flat tire on his car and stopped at a gas station to replace it. While they were installing a spare tire, the attacker stole a bag of money from the car.
