The second season of the Netflix series "Wednesday" has begun to be released. Viewers saw four episodes with the official Russian dubbing on August 6, and the end of the season will appear only on September 3.

The main part of the events takes place at Nevermore Academy again. A new school year begins, and Wednesday arrives at her alma mater this time not alone - with her brother Pugsley, who is also starting his studies. The conflict is built around an almost detective story with an investigation, and in parallel, a difficult line of relationship develops between Wednesday and her mother: a serious disagreement between family members can even turn into a duel.

Actor Stephen Buscemi appears among the iconic artists in the second season — he got the role of the new school principal. Catherine Zeta-Jones plays the role of Morticia Addams here, and a short film directed and animated by Tim Burton is embedded in the series.

The musical accompaniment of the series is multifaceted. The season features instrumental covers of past hits sung by R.E.M. and Cranberries, and the "Dance of the Knights" by composer Sergei Prokofiev as one of the main musical themes.
