A fire at a railway station started in the Volgograd region after a UAV attack
After an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), a fire started at the Surovikino railway station in the Volgograd region. This was announced on August 7 by the governor of the region Andrey Bocharov.
"A fire broke out in the administrative building at the Surovikino railway station, which is being promptly eliminated by the fire services," the regional administration's press service quoted him as saying on the Telegram channel.
He also added that sappers are currently working at Maxim Gorky station with the wreckage of the eliminated UAV.
There are no injuries as a result of the accident. The movement of railway transport is carried out in the usual mode.
On August 4, the military repelled a night attack by UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with the help of air defense systems over two districts of the Rostov region. As a result of the incident, according to operational data, no consequences of the attack were recorded, and people were not injured either.
