During combat duty, Sergeant Alexander Sinkin promptly evacuated a wounded colleague to a safe place. The Russian Defense Ministry reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Thursday, August 7.

It is noted that Sinkin was near the line of combat contact and secretly monitored the movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The sergeant noticed a wounded Russian soldier near his position and decided to evacuate him to the rear.

Having reached the victim unnoticed by the enemy, the soldier first assessed his condition and the nature of the injury, after which he provided first aid. Sinkin then evacuated the wounded man to a safe area under fire from enemy drones and artillery, where he was able to receive qualified medical care and was rescued.

For his professionalism and courage in fulfilling his duty, the sergeant was presented with a state award.

The Defense Ministry also said that Corporal Ruslan Sergachev discovered enemy drones approaching the positions at night and used electronic warfare to divert them from the positions occupied by Russian army personnel. Thanks to the actions of the serviceman, the plans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to adjust a series of mortar attacks were thwarted.

Sergachev was also presented with a state award for his exemplary performance of military duty.

Earlier, on August 6, Private Alexander Tokmakov, who is in the position of a tank platoon driver, completed the task of defending camouflaged vehicles in a position as part of a security group. At the firing position, he discovered the enemy's FPV drones approaching, after which he took up an advantageous position and opened fire on them. In a few hours of defense from Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), the soldier shot down more than 10 aerial targets.

On August 5, Ensign Alexander Zankin, head of the control platoon, provided the commander with communications with the units of the Russian Armed Forces occupying advanced defensive positions during the combat mission. Thanks to the actions of the fighter, the stability of the defense of the Russian army in the tactical direction of its military was ensured.
