In Istra (Moscow region) The readiness of the new Sokolka forest park zone has reached almost 80%. The administration of the municipal district announced this in its Telegram channel on Wednesday, August 6.
The contractor is currently installing playgrounds and sports grounds in the forest park, and equipping pedestrian paths. Workers are also building a cafe and a pavilion for the rental of sports equipment, and installing toilets.
The area of the forest park is 52 hectares. The length of the trails is more than 4 km, the ski trail is more than 1.7 km.
Landscaping is carried out within the framework of the regional program "Parks in the forest". It is planned to complete the work and open a public space at the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2025, writes the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya.
Earlier it was reported that in the autumn of 2025, Podolsk, near Moscow, plans to complete the reconstruction of the Berezki forest park.
