Sevastopol approved the design of direction signs
The Sevastopol Department of Architecture and Urban Planning has approved the design for the direction signs. The decree fixed two acceptable options, the press service of the unit reported on Wednesday, August 6.
The first type of signs is intended to be installed within the boundaries of the sites of the historical settlement, the second — in the rest of the city. It is allowed to attach no more than four plaques to a three-meter pole, writes IA SevastopolMedia.
The plates themselves will be made of corrosion-resistant and temperature-resistant material. They will contain information about the toponymic object both in Russian and transliterated in Latin letters.
Earlier it was reported that Sevastopol will abandon the use of some foreign words on signage. The new shape of the plates was approved by the Department of Architecture.
