A show with Tesla coils and a Faraday cage was launched in Moscow
Visitors of the forum "Territories of the future. Moscow 2030" can be inside a Faraday cage under the influence of electric discharges from Tesla coils. The scientific and entertainment program takes place in the Robotics pavilion in the park of the 50th anniversary of October from August 1 to September 14.
The Tesla Corner show starts every 30 minutes from 12:00 Moscow time. Participants answer physics questions, and the winner takes a place in a Faraday cage between two Tesla coils. The devices generate lightning bolts accompanied by music. The Faraday cage is completely protected from electromagnetic interference, and it is absolutely safe to stay in it, the organizers note.
In addition to the science show, the Robotics pavilion hosts master classes on managing robobacks and humanoid robots. Participants study the principles of operation of drives and algorithms for the movement of autonomous devices. The program is available for all ages, including people with disabilities.
The pavilion is also equipped with sports areas. There is a sapboarding pool and an aerial trapeze for acrobatic tricks nearby. One-hour workshops for groups of up to six people are held daily on the trapeze from 11:00 to 21:00 Moscow time. Each participant is instructed, receives insurance and protective equipment.
The Robotics Pavilion is one of the central and largest venues of the Territory of the Future forum-festival. Moscow 2030". Achievements in the field of robotics, neurotechnology, electric power engineering and visual scientific solutions are presented on 2.5 thousand square meters. The space combines an exhibition exhibit, interactive zones, science shows and sports facilities. In total, about 2 thousand activities will be held in the pavilion within the framework of the forum.
