Construction of a new large school with a swimming pool has been completed in the urban settlement of Bely Yar in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra. The Housing and Construction Supervision Service has issued a permit for the commissioning of the facility, said the head of the Surgut district Andrey Trubetskoy on Wednesday, August 6.

"The newly built building will mainly accommodate students from the first and third Beloyarsk schools. Its introduction will allow all children of the settlement to study in the first shift according to a step-by-step schedule. The second shift in Bely Yar is canceled," Trubetskoy said.

According to the <url> news agency, the facility was built as the second building of school No. 3. The building has an area of about 24,000 square meters and houses classrooms, laboratories, a swimming pool, gyms, and various studios.

The school is scheduled to open on September 1. It will be able to accommodate up to 1084 students.

A new large school building was built as part of the concession agreement. The cost of the facility exceeded 3 billion rubles, some of which were allocated from the federal and district budgets.
