FC Krylia Sovetov leased the Russian football champion Akhmetov from Zenit

Samara football club (FC) Krylia Sovetov has leased 27-year-old Russian champion Ilzat Akhmetov from Zenit St. Petersburg, the press service of the blue-white-Blues reported on August 6.

"The blue-white-blues and the Samara club have reached an agreement on the transfer of the midfielder on loan. The agreement between the parties is valid until the end of the 2025/26 season. <...> Zenit wishes Ilzat Akhmetov good luck," the team's website says.

Akhmetov joined Zenit in January 2024, having moved there from Krasnodar. The midfielder played 21 matches at the club, won the title of champion of Russia, and also won the Cup and the Super Cup of the country. According to the Transfermarkt portal, the player's market value is €1.5 million, Sport-Express added.
