- The examination did not find alcohol in the blood of the deceased commentator Grishin
The forensic medical examination did not find alcohol in the blood of sports commentator Alexander Grishin, who died on Tuesday, August 5. This was announced on August 6 by his wife Anastasia Grishina.
"I would like to express my special "gratitude" to some journalists <...> who spread unverified and false facts about the circumstances of my spouse's death. You didn't find out about the real documents, about the forensic medical examination that I have in my hands, which states that there is no alcohol intoxication," Grishina said on her husband's Instagram page (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation, banned).
She added that journalists should check the facts more carefully, including documentarily.
Grishin's death became known on August 5. His wife Anastasia reported that the man died in an accident on a railway platform in Podolsk in heavy rain.
The next day, it was reported that law enforcement agencies were not planning to open a criminal case into the death of the commentator. In their opinion, the death occurred as a result of injury by an electric train and is not of a criminal nature.
