Vadim Samoilov talked about working on his new album

Vadim Samoilov, musician and founder of the Agatha Christie rock band, will release his new album in early 2026. He told Izvestia about the work on the project on August 6.

"My new album has been thought about for a long time and, in fact, work on it has been going on for several years," he clarified.

According to the musician, the new album will be philosophical and autobiographical in nature. In it, the founder of Agatha Christie, for example, will refer to his songs composed in 1986.

"Colleagues say that everything is too clever, but I'm interested in writing so that I can be surprised by myself," the performer shared.

He noted that the release of a new album is a big, difficult and compositional work. The tracks that will be included in its composition are currently being recorded. The album, according to Samoilov, will be released in early 2026. There are several singles from it available now.

The musician also invited fans of his work to the Legends of Russian Rock festival, which will be held on August 30 and 31 at the Gorbunov Recreation Center in Moscow.
