GNESSIN AIR on Znamenka, 16+

The festival program includes 11 days of non-stop music. From classical to jazz, from Baroque music performed on authentic instruments, to works by modern composers and popular soundtracks, there are about 30 daytime, evening and night concerts in total, which will be held at three venues. Classical and ancient music will be played in the Organ Hall and the Attic. Works of lighter genres and original programs will be performed on the Summer Stage. Traditional orchestra performances will also take place there.
A special guest of the festival will be Olesya Petrova, a soloist of the Mikhailovsky Opera and a guest soloist of the Mariinsky Theater, who shines on the world's leading stages: the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, the Metropolitan Opera, the Hamburg State Opera, the Sydney Opera House and others. Renowned oboist and teacher of rhetorically informed performing arts Rafael Palacios (Belgium - Mexico) and jazz singer Masha Ocean (Spain) will come from abroad. The artistic director of the festival is Mikhail Khokhlov, Honored Artist of Russia, Director of the Gnessin Moscow Art School.
