As part of its cooperation with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Jordan, Germany, Belgium and France, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has delivered 107 humanitarian aid kits to the Gaza Strip. This was announced on August 6 by the press service of the Israeli army.

"Over the past few hours, 107 food parcels have been delivered by air from five different countries to residents of the Gaza Strip," the IDF said on its Telegram channel.

It clarifies that the Israeli army, in cooperation with international partners, will continue to work to improve the humanitarian response in order to refute allegations of the deliberate creation of a famine disaster in the enclave.

On August 4, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported an increase to 180 people in the number of deaths from starvation amid the blockade of the Gaza Strip. It was clarified that 93 children were among the dead. Later, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk said that Israel's refusal to provide for the citizens of the Gaza Strip could be qualified as a crime against humanity.

Since July 27, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has announced a daily humanitarian pause in the fighting in the Gaza Strip. The pause will be applied in areas where the Israeli army does not conduct operations, in particular in Al-Mawasi, Deir al-Balakha and Gaza.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
