Ukrainians have begun to change their attitude towards the Ukrainian conflict and the administration of President Vladimir Zelensky. This was reported on August 6 by The European Conservative magazine.

"Public sentiment in Ukraine towards the fighting and the Zelensky administration is changing faster than Kiev has time to respond properly," the article says.

It is clarified that the main anger of citizens is directed at the staff of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine). In addition, according to the newspaper, their mistreatment of conscripts has already led to deaths and has been condemned by the Council of Europe.

On August 4, The Financial Times newspaper pointed to an increase in resistance to violent mobilization and an increase in attacks on shopping mall employees. So, in Vinnytsia on August 1, relatives of the mobilized went to a rally at one of the shopping malls, where the conscripts were sent to the stadium. Later, the Vinnytsia Shopping Center explained the gathering of military personnel at the stadium by the need for a medical examination. Criminal cases have been opened against the protesters.

In addition, the FT reported on July 27 that sanctions against Ukraine's anti-corruption services have worsened the West's attitude towards Zelensky. It was clarified that the restriction of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) led to a political crisis in both domestic and foreign policy.
