Gunmen abducted 60 people, including women and children, during a night raid in Nigeria. This was reported by the Reuters news agency on August 6.

"Armed criminals have abducted at least 45 women and children during a night raid on five villages in northwestern Nigeria," the publication says.

According to the newspaper, the attackers raided the settlements of Sadeh, Sabongarin-Damri, Tungar-Tsalle, Tungar-Sodangi and Tungar-Musa-Dogo. It is noted that this is the second episode of mass kidnappings in recent days in the area.

La Libre newspaper reported on July 15 that at least 27 people were killed in a militant attack on the Jebu Rahoss community in central Nigeria. It was clarified that nomadic shepherds were suspected of the attack.
