MAX has successfully tested the equipment for connection to "Public Services"

Testing of the equipment for connecting the national messenger MAX to the Unified Identification and Authentication System (USIA) has been successfully completed "Public services". This was announced on August 6 by the VK company's press service.

It is noted that the supplier was the IT company Infotex Internet Trust, which holds licenses from the Ministry of Finance, FSTEC and the FSB. The OpenID Connect authentication protocol was used for the connection.

"The OpenID Connect protocol allows, with the user's consent, to interact on secure data transfer between ESIA and MAX. The authentication protocol is implemented in hardware," the press service said.

Earlier that day, Alexander Khaminsky, head of the Law Enforcement center in Moscow and the Moscow Region, said that the mandatory pre-installation of the MAX messenger on all new smartphones in Russia would begin on September 1. He stressed that in addition to the standard functions for correspondence and calls, Public Services and a digital signature are integrated into MAX.
