Szijjarto criticized the opinion about the protection of Europe by Ukrainians

Ukraine does not defend European countries because no one attacked them. This was announced on August 6 by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.

"For three and a half years now, we have been hearing that Ukrainians are defending Europe, but what a shock! Ukrainians are not defending us because no one attacked us. No one is attacking us, we don't need to be protected," the minister said on Harcosok Órája.

According to him, the European Union (EU) is trying to create a mental state in Europe where everyone "feels obligated to support Ukraine."
