The DFM radio station, which is part of the Russian Media Group, has rebranded. The company has changed its logo, slogan, music format and audiovisual design.

The rebranding concept evolved around the station's new slogan: "Turn on the party!" He set the tone for a deep rethink of the format and communication strategy of DFM Radio.

Mikhail Kortikov, Program Director of DFM Radio: "The slogan "Turn on the party!" is not a joke. This is our manifesto: about drive, emotions, atmosphere. Where the music swings so that it is impossible to sit still. DFM radio has a powerful emotional message. Today, the station is a modern, technological, distinctive media. And we strove to ensure that his updated audio-visual portrait corresponded to these values."

The logo changed after the slogan. It has become clearer and more dynamic. For many years, DFM Radio has been positioned as the main dance radio in the country. However, as part of the rebranding, the broadcast was also updated. The music format has expanded to rhythmic hits of recent decades, both foreign and domestic. The station also updates the audiovisual design, from jingles and sound logo to studio design.

Denis Serikov, Deputy General Director of Russian Media Group JSC for Content Policy and Promotion:"We wanted to put additional emphasis on the fact that DFM radio is not only about music. It's about lifestyle. Turn on the party and be a part of our movement. Now DFM radio now sounds like a party that never ends."

The rebranding highlights the station's multi-format and multi-channel nature and is in line with the trend for a new radio consumption format combining classic FM broadcasting and listening via PC, smart speakers, CarPlay and other digital tools.

DFM Radio attracted leading international and Russian experts in the field of sound and visual design to develop a new identity, as well as the audio design of the broadcast. A large team, which included the artistic council of DFM Radio, as well as colleagues from other departments of the Russian Media Group, which includes the station, worked on changing the playlist of the radio station.
