A court in Moscow arrested a professor at the Russian University of Economics. Plekhanov in the case of treason

Vadim Saltykovsky, a professor at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (REU), was arrested in a case of treason. This was reported to Izvestia on August 6 in the Lefortovo District Court of Moscow.

The arrest of Saltykovsky became known on July 29. It is specified that he will remain in custody until September 25.

On July 22, a criminal case was opened in Vladivostok on abuse of office against the vice-rector of a university. It was noted that the educational institution suffered material damage of more than 3.3 million rubles.
