"Assuming the office of President of the Republic of Poland by the will of the people, I solemnly swear that I will be faithful to the provisions of the Constitution, that I will unswervingly defend the dignity of the nation, the independence and security of the state, and that the welfare of the fatherland and the prosperity of its citizens will always be my highest imperative," said Nawrocki.
He noted that he intends to implement large-scale investment projects in the country. In addition, Navrotsky stressed the desire to combat illegal migration and raise the retirement age.
Earlier, on June 2, the state Election Commission approved the victory of the candidate from the opposition Law and Justice party Nawrocki in the second round of the Polish presidential election. Later, on July 1, the Supreme Court of Poland approved the results of the presidential election and recognized the legitimacy of Karol Nawrocki's victory.
