The FSB of Russia has published a video of investigative actions carried out in the framework of the fraud case involving the theft and return of state property at the Dagnefteprodukt oil complex. The materials published on August 4 show footage of special forces landing from a helicopter on the territory of the complex.

In addition, the video shows searches of the defendants in the case, the discovery of money, weapons, as well as the process of interrogating suspects. One of the key episodes is the operation in the building of the National Assembly of Dagestan, where operatives enter the office of the ex-Secretary of State of the Republic of Magomed Sultan Magomedov.

On July 26, the Sovetsky District Court of Makhachkala seized property belonging to the business structures of the Magomedov family. The arrest was imposed on a plot of land with an area of about 160 hectares, on which the Dagnefteprodukt plant is located.

Dagestan's Secretary of state is suspected of illegally exporting petroleum products abroad, a law enforcement source told Izvestia. According to him, the official's enterprises exported processed raw materials at a zero tax rate, although such raw materials are excisable products.

Later, on August 6, the FSB's public relations center reported that the value of assets turned into state revenue after the lawsuit against Magomedov amounted to more than 100 billion rubles. A criminal case has been opened against him under Part 4 of Article 159 ("Fraud") and Part 4 of Article 174.1 ("Money laundering").

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
