The arrest of the head of Gagauzia, Evgenia Gutsul, is political terrorism. This was stated on August 6 by the leader of the Moldovan opposition bloc "Victory" Ilan Shor.

"This verdict is an act of political retribution, and the actions of the authorities are political terrorism," he said in an interview with Rossiya 24 TV channel.

Shor also promised that the opposition in Moldova would take all necessary legal measures to free the head of Gagauzia.
