In Transnistria, the state of emergency in the economy was extended until August 31.
The Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR) has approved the extension of the state of emergency in the economy until the end of August. This was reported on August 6 in the press service of the parliament of the region.
"The Supreme Council has approved the decree of the President of the PMR on the extension of the economic emergency regime in the republic until August 31," the parliament's Telegram channel wrote.
It is noted that the economic crisis continues to worsen in the region, as well as the problem of providing fuel.
On June 11, the Supreme Council of the PMR approved the introduction of a state of emergency in the economy for a period of 30 days. It was clarified that the state of emergency is required to restore the necessary conditions for the viability of the republic and ensure the basic needs of the population.
Last time, on April 30, the Parliament of Transnistria extended the state of emergency in the economy until June 8. Then it was extended for the fifth time.
