The acting governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, reported on his Telegram channel on August 6 about the consequences of the attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which damaged the equipment of the power transmission line.
According to Slyusar, the incident occurred in the Zolotarevka farm in the Rodionovo-Nesvetaisky district, where almost 200 people living in 87 houses were left without electricity.
"In Zolotarevka village, Rodionovo-Nesvetaisky district, almost 200 residents of 87 houses were left without electricity due to damage to the power line," he said.
Repair and restoration work will begin in the afternoon. As a result of the incident, there were no casualties.
Also, in the village of Tatsinskaya, Rostov region, three families were evacuated as a result of a grass fire near an apartment building. The fire was quickly extinguished, and there was no threat to residents.
