An emergency mode has been introduced in the Amur region due to a highway collapse.

An emergency regime was introduced in the Tynda district of the Amur Region due to the collapse of the Lena federal highway. This was announced on August 5 by the head of the district Tamara Lysakova in her Telegram channel.

"A roadbed collapsed on the A-360 Lena federal highway near the Oldogoy River. Traffic on the highway is closed. An emergency mode has been introduced in the district," the message says.

According to Lysakova, measures will be taken to restore the highway as soon as possible. She called for the use of rail transport.

Earlier, on July 12, a bridge collapsed in the Vologda region between two settlements of the Nikolsky district. The next day, on July 13, the head of the district Dmitry Mishenev reported about 12 victims who went to hospitals after the incident.
