The investigation of the criminal case of the murder of one of the members of the Trifonovsky gang on the territory of a cooperage plant in the city of Dalnerechensk, Primorsky Krai, in 2003 was completed. This was announced on August 6 by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (SU TFR) for the region in its Telegram channel.

"According to the investigation, on the night of July 18-19, 2003, Evgeny Manakov and his friend beat the victim during an argument. After that, they put him in the trunk of a Toyota Land Cruiser and transported him to the cooperage, where they fired at least two shots at him," the report said.

It is noted that the body of the murdered man was hidden, and the car was burned. One of the defendants in the case fled to Barnaul, where he was detained in 2005, while the other was killed in 2004.

According to the agency, a full investigation of the case was conducted, where new data was found that helped establish the circumstances of the incident.

A guilty verdict was passed on the fact of the crime, which has already been sent to court.

Earlier, on July 15, a man was detained in Krasnoyarsk, who had previously killed his beloved and dismembered her body. It was clarified that law enforcement agencies received a statement from a local resident about the disappearance of her 34-year-old friend. According to the investigation, on the evening of June 10, the 42-year-old roommate of the missing woman returned home from a business trip, and a conflict broke out between the partners, during which the man punched the woman several times in the torso.
