Gutsul's lawyer spoke about the family's condition after the verdict

The family of the head of Gagauzia, Evgenia Gutsul, suffered the verdict of the court, her lawyer, Sergei Moraru, told Izvestia.

"The family took the court's decision hard. This terror did not begin today, but in March, when she was detained. Yevgenia Gutsul was under house arrest, but recently there were people with machine guns outside the door who made sure that she did not leave the house," he said.

All this affected Gutsul's state of health, the lawyer noted.

"The youngest son, aged three, had very serious problems, and she was not given permission to go to the hospital with her child. His father was with him at the children's hospital for several days," Moraru added.
