"From a medical point of view, the most physiological are drinking water, mineral waters, herbal teas and vegetable juices," the therapist noted.
At the same time, there are drinks that should be reduced in summer. One of them, according to Hodova, is coffee. It has a diuretic effect, which is not absolutely necessary in the summer, when people most often try to quench their thirst.
The expert noted that there are certain standards of fluid intake in hot weather. On average, an adult should consume 2-3 liters of water. At the same time, it is worth relying on the level of physical activity — from this the amount of liquid consumed will increase to a liter.
