The expert gave advice to Russian women on career growth in "male" industries
It is often easier for women to achieve high positions in traditionally "male-dominated" industries if they adhere to clear business principles and take the initiative. This was stated by Alina Boldyreva, Director of Strategic Marketing at Russian Light.
In conversation with Lenta. On Tuesday, August 5, the expert noted that in men's groups, women are often perceived not as competitors, but as partners, so men are more likely to share their experiences and involve them in important projects. This, in turn, promotes professional growth.
Boldyreva noted that women's leadership qualities — the ability to negotiate, flexibility and the ability to act through partnership — are especially appreciated in the industrial sector. However, for success, in her opinion, it is important to be visible, actively build professional relationships, take part in difficult tasks and business trips, and adhere to high business discipline.
She stressed that reliability is a key quality in a men's team, and it is with it that the name of a professional woman should be associated. It is also important to build a career based on life stages and to think in advance about how to combine work and family.
Earlier on August 5, Deputy General Director of the portal "Work.<url>" Alexander Veterkov, in an interview with NSN, commented on Rosstat data that women find work faster than men. According to him, women are more likely to be ready to learn and gain new knowledge. At the same time, men are less likely to be willing to compromise, writes 360.ru .
Also on August 5, Roman Yerkhov, CEO of TuBi recruitment company, in an interview with Izvestia, named the necessary work skills in the future. In particular, he noted that the number of professions in which AI is used is growing rapidly.
