The cause of death of British rock musician and Black Sabbath bandleader Ozzy Osbourne (real name - John Michael Osbourne) was an acute myocardial infarction and cardiac arrest. This was reported on August 5 by The Sun newspaper with reference to the death certificate of the artist.

In the "cause of death" section of his official death certificate, "acute myocardial infarction" and "community—acquired cardiac arrest" are listed, the article says.

The concomitant causes of death were coronary heart disease and Parkinson's disease with autonomic dysfunction, the newspaper writes. It is noted that in the column "activity" the musician indicates "songwriter, performer and rock legend."

British rock musician Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22 at the age of 76. The singer had Parkinson's disease. In addition, he has suffered from other health problems in recent years, including complications from injuries sustained in a fall in 2019.

The farewell to the rock musician, attended by thousands of his fans, took place on July 30. The police specifically blocked off the central territory of Birmingham, which is native to the musician. Osbourne himself wanted his funeral not to be a sad event, and during his lifetime he urged his fans to celebrate the triumph of life and remember his career.

Osborne was buried on July 31 in the garden of his family mansion in Buckinghamshire. The funeral procession was attended by fans of the musician, and the funeral itself was attended by a limited circle of people: relatives, close friends and other musicians and performers, including Elton John, James Hatfield from Metallica, Marilyn Manson, punk singer Yungblud, Rob Zombie and guitarist Ozzy Zakk Wilde.
