The cause of the death of commentator Alexander Grishin has been named.
Commentator Alexander Grishin died while trying to cross the railway in the wrong place. This was announced on August 5 by the Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor's Office.
According to preliminary information, the tragedy occurred at the Bitsa station in the Moscow region.
"A man who was crossing the railway in the wrong place was fatally injured by electric train No. 6435 from Volokolamsk to Serpukhov," the department's Telegram channel says.
It is specified that the incident occurred at 26 km of Bitsa station. The prosecutor's office is establishing the causes and circumstances of the incident.
Grishin's death became known earlier that day. His wife Anastasia reported that the man died in an accident on a railway platform in heavy rain. The prosecutor's office organized an inspection.
